"Mufasa: The Lion King"

The Std. IV Class Day was celebrated on 14th February 2026 with great excitement and zeal. The chosen theme, The Lion King, inspired by the character Mufasa, beautifully conveyed the values of courage, responsibility, leadership, and the significance of family and unity. The programme turned out to be a grand success, reflecting the sincere efforts and dedication of both students and teachers. The children performed confidently and enthusiastically, while the teachers provided constant guidance and encouragement at every stage. Their collective teamwork made the celebration a truly memorable and meaningful event.


2024-25
Class Day (IV) Theme –
Charlotte Web

The students of Std. IV of St. Mary’s School Dwarka celebrated their Class Day on February 8, 2025, with a delightful tribute to Charlotte’s Web. The highlight of the event was a beautifully staged play that captured the heartwarming friendship between Charlotte, the wise and kind spider, and Wilbur, the lovable pig. The students put in tremendous effort, from rehearsing their roles to creating engaging props, ensuring that the story came to life in a captivating way. Their dedication and enthusiasm were evident in every scene, making the performance a joy to watch. The event was a resounding success, leaving the audience enchanted and fostering a deeper appreciation for the timeless tale of friendship and kindness.


2023-24
Class Day (IV) Theme – “
The Wizard of Oz

Std. IV celebrated their Class Day on 19th of August 2023, showing off their histrionics on stage by performing the musical adaptation of the much-loved book ‘The Wizard of Oz’ by L. Frank Baum. The Class Day was a great success with seven spellbinding songs, a gripping script and a heart-warming story. The occasion was graced by Mrs Arvinda Sharma, retired Principal of Zigyasa Public School. She praised the efforts made by the students and teachers in making this event a great success.


2019-20
Class Day (IV) Theme – “ Pinocchio”

St. Mary’s School, Dwarka celebrated Class Day of Std. IV on 31st August 2019 with great enthusiasm and elan. The students presented the musical play ‘Pinocchio’ with great gusto. The programme commenced by invoking God’s blessings with a beautiful rendition of ‘Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam’. This was followed by the captivating performance of the musical play and amalgamation of mesmerizing dance performances. Dr. Meenakshi Munshi, adviser and scientist in the Bio technology department of Government of India, graced the occasion with her valuable presence. She emphasized on the holistic development of students. The chief guest applauded the stellar performance of the students and appreciated their endeavour. The Headmistress, Ms. Nisha Batra addressed the gathering. The audience was fascinated by the enchanting performance of the young performers.


2017-18

Class Day (IV) Theme – “ The Jungle Book”
St. Mary's School, Dwarka organised the Class Day of Std. IV on 16th September, 2016. The theme for the programme was "The Jungle Book". The Class Day was celebrated with great zeal and passion. The event was graced with the presence of the Chief Guest, Ms Rachna Rawat, a trained classical dancer who was given the floral welcome. Presently she is working with Indian Express and anchors show with AIR FM. The theme based Musical Play captivated the guests. The theme depicted the baby Mowgli who was abandoned after an accident and was raised by a family of wolves. As the boy grows older, the wise panther Bagheera realizes he must be return to his own kind in the nearby man-village. Baloo, the bear however thinks differently taking the young Mowgli under his wing and teaching that living in the jungle is the best life there is. Bagheera realizes that Mowgli is in danger, particularly from Shere Khan the tiger who hates all people. When Baloo finally comes around, Mowgli runs off into the jungle where he survives a second encounter with Kaa the snake and finally, with Shere Khan. It's the sight of a pretty girl however that gets Mowgli to go the nearby man-village.The confident and superb acting by the students kept the audience glued to their seats. The colourful costumes mesmerized the audience.The persistent applause for the Finale was the proof that the show was enjoyed by all. ‘The Jungle Book’ will not be easily forgotten in the days to come.
