'Annie - The Musical'
St. Mary’s School Dwarka celebrated its 22nd Annual Day on 17th November, 2017 with great enthusiasm. The play, directed by Mr. George Pulinkala was a magical amalgamation of music, dance and theatre. The Chief Guest for the evening was Mr. David R Syiemlieh, UPSC Chairman. The distinguished guests, parents and alumni were also present in the audience. The programme commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest and Principal. This was followed by a dance performance by the differently abled students of the Aasmaan Wing, accompanied by the students of Class XI and XII. The dance, set to the tune of "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam", invoked the blessings of the Almighty. The play, which followed the exploits of a cheerful orphan Annie in New York CIty, held the audience in rapt attention with its simple yet thoughtful plot. The actors gave amazing performances and brought their characters to life. The audience was mesmerized by the overall performance of the students and combined efforts of the students and staff. The Chief Guest in his concluding speech appreciated the hard work of the students. He also reminisced about his own school life and shared a few interesting anecdotes. He urged the students to be kind and helpful to others, especially those less privileged.

Annual Sports Day 2016-17
for
'Love of Vigour and Strength'

St. Mary’s School, Dwarka, recently held its Annual Sports Day on 18 November, 2016. It was an evening of brilliant performances showcasing the students’ prowess in various sporting arenas. The evening began with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest Mr. Devinder Singh, Deputy Director of Education, Southwest Block, New Delhi and the school principal Ms. Sheelu Mathew. The choir provided the perfect background with a beautiful rendition of the school motto, Tamso Ma Jyotirgamaya. The senior students performed a graceful dance to the song, ‘Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam’ invoking the blessings of the almighty. The school principal then presented the annual school report, giving an insight into the various activities carried out in the school and the student’s achievements in both academic and co-curricular fields. The students of classes VI-VIII displayed a perfect blend of art and athletics with drill exercises using colourful hula hoops, dazzling pom-poms and sprightly umbrellas. The talented guitarists, pianist, and violinist mesmerised the audience with their recreation of Johann Pachelbel’s famous Canon in D. The 230 student choir got the audience to sing along with them as they performed a medley of new and old hits. The grand finale of the event was a mashaal drill by the senior most students. With their flaming torches, they provided an important message to serve as a beacon of light and eradicate the darkness of ignorance. The Chief Guest, Mr. Devinder Singh, applauded the efforts of the students and congratulated teachers for their wonderful execution.

Annual Day 2015-16
Peter Pan - 'A Musical Ballad'

St. Mary’s School Dwarka celebrated its 20th Annual Day on 17th October, 2015 with gusto and ecstasy. ‘Peter Pan- A Musical’ was performed by the students on the stage in the midst of distinguished guests, parents and well wishers. The play was directed by Mr. George Pulinkala. Peter Pan – A Musical was a resplendent pageant of  music, dance and theatre as a culmination of long and vigorous practice by the students. The Chief Guest Mr. Madan Mohan Sharma from the ICCR, the cultural wing of Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of Indiagraced the occasion with his eminent presence. Ms. Sheelu Mathew, the Principal of St. Mary’s School, Dwarka presented the annual school report highlighting prominent achievements of the school in scholastic and co-scholastic areas during the academic year. The programme commenced with the lighting of the auspicious lamp by the Chief Guest and Principal. This was followed by a dance performance by the students of class XII and ‘Aasman Wing’ invoking the blessings of the Almighty. The audience was mesmerized by the overall performance of the students and combined efforts of the staff and students. The Chief Guest in his concluding speech appreciated School's endeavours to instill discipline and moral values in the present generation. He also applauded the vision and multi-faceted approach of the school in imparting inclusive education and education to the less privileged in the most dedicated manner.

Annual Day 2014-15
'Synthesizing the Elements of Nature'

St. Mary's School Dwarka celebrated its Annual Day on 14th November, 2014. The theme “Synthesizing the Elements of Nature” presented a unique amalgamation of Sports and various dance forms. The Chief Guest for the day was Mr. Ashish Sood . Ms. Sheelu Mathew-The Principal of the school, presented the School's Annual report. The event began with the lighting of the auspicious lamp by the Chief Guest and Principal followed by a dance performance as the students invoked the blessings of the Almighty. The school choir and the school band presented the theme song for the day- 'Paryavaran' and a medley of songs by Michael Jackson resonating the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, trying to sensitize the gathering towards climate change. The audience was enthralled by the blending of graceful moves of Bharatnatyam with the dumbbell drill display and applauded the calculated calisthenics by young gymnasts of the school. Students also presented an artistic form of yoga and the popular martial art form taekwondo. All the performances were also showcased through the medium of sand art by the school students. The Annual Day programme culminates with a splendid display of illuminated finesse by the students of class XI and XII who lit up the sky with an enchanting torch drill. The Chief Guest appreciated the schools efforts in providing holistic education to the students through inculcation of humanistic values and for providing curricular and co curricular excellence. The school's endeavour to achieve a compatible ecosystem was highly applauded.
